Don’t you hate it when someone questions something you know, and they’re right?

I hate that.

Well, I don’t actually hate that. I’m always looking for new things to learn, even with respect to old things. The trick is to project an attitude of openness to further knowledge and acknowledge where some areas of specificity may be aging, or lacking.

I’m a traffic engineering specialist, but that doesn’t mean I know every word of every manual and guideline out there. Sometimes, there are things I didn’t review or ever learn in the first place. That’s a good thing to keep in mind.
