Haha… wondering if that’s the same thing I noticed on our product at work a few days ago.
When choosing sort options for a column, the choices were:
“Sort Ascending”
“Sort Descending”
“Sort Normal”
Huh? What the heck is “Sort Normal”? Basically that just took away the sort criteria and defaulted to sorting by primary key. Using my rule that if the feature doesn’t exist in Google Docs or Microsoft Office it doesn’t deserve to exist, I removed that feature.
That sort must make your life easier.
I wish I could “Sort by Magic” all things in life. Would make cleaning the garage easier.
