I haven’t been keeping up on my Blog Tracking or this wouldn’t be a surprise to me. This supernova is particularly cool because it does not fall into the current theories of stellar death. Someone, somehwere, just discovered their Ph.D. dissertation.
It’s been a long time since I swore off Lost, in all of it’s disglory. It was after the third episode of season two, when they had ended the hour with the exact same cliffhanger. At that moment, I was done. I was both enraged and sad because I had loved the first season. I posted about it then, and the thread is still getting the occasional comment.
Thankfully, I got out.

This guy has bought in to the myth that you can have a measurable effect on traffic congestion. I don’t buy it. People who think they are having a net positivie effect are merely approaching the existing congestion with a better frame of mind, which makes it appear to them that things are better. Congestion is not about individual vehicles; it’s a mob thing, with a lot of basis in experimental fluid dynamics.
