Griffin and I went out to shoot off some compressed air rockets. He was a great helper. We also spent some time in Marietta Square last weekend. He had a great time shaking the Christmas tree branches and getting himself wet from the rain remnants. And he’s just a cutie pie.

This is actually Griffin at one year plus 3 weeks, but who’s counting?

Griffin became a one-year-old yesterday. He seemed to have a good time based upon the amount of unconsciousness he exhibited last night. Other pictures available over at flickr

I took some more pictures with Griffin, down at Freedom Park in Atlanta. Here are a few.

Griffin was rockin’ the changing room at REI. Jenn and I have really lucked out with an amazingly happy child. I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Yesterday Griffin crawled for the first time. At least, by our definition of crawling. He’s been commando crawling a.k.a. “naga-ing” for a week now. Our crawling threshold was “two repeats of hand-foot, hand-foot” movement. He did that yesterday. Run for the hills! It’s time to baby-proof the house. Update: Whoops. I put the embed link …

It was sleep-in Saturday around here.

Like several of our friends have done, we’ll be taking pictures of Griffin over time in order to display a sense of growth. In order to scale him, we have the wonderful cuddly monkey that Jess gifted to him. The monkey does an excellent job taking care of Griffin while we’re not watching. More images …
